Course Description

Living An Examined Life With A Journal is an invitation to have an intimate dialogue with yourself that can last a lifetime. In this course, you'll learn how journal writing techniques can reveal your inner self quickly and honestly.  

​

Over the years we have all told ourselves stories about who we are—others have told us plenty, too. In this course, you’ll learn journaling techniques to investigate whether those stories are still true, even more true, or were actually never true.

​

We’ll talk about how to use journaling to check-in with yourself, gather information from your thoughts, practice techniques for feeling your feelings, write unique affirmations tailored to you, capture important moments from your day, and free yourself from any unconscious assumptions weighing down your life.

​

By the end of the course, you will know how to apply several journaling techniques to cultivate a supportive guide within—one you can converse with, and lean on, for a lifetime.

Course Details

Living an Examined Life With A Journal is a self-guided course. You can start at any time. In order to support ease and avoid overwhelm, the course lessons ‘unlock’ bit by bit. In total, the content will take you about  8-10 hours to work through and includes video, reading, audio files, suggested readings, and of course, journaling prompts.

 

The course is open to experienced journal writers and those new to the practice alike.

Course Description

Journaling What Matters Most is for you if you want to simplify your life—from the ideas bouncing around in your brain to projects, plans, and commitments. Use this course to create a space in which you can focus your intentions. Each lesson provides a unique vantage point from which to see what matters most to you right now. 

 

You’ll learn to apply Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey framework to examine your life path, resolve a conflict you’ve left on the back burner to free up mental space, learn an inquiry technique to declutter your mind of limiting beliefs, practice gratitude to amplify your sense of wellbeing, and so, so much more. 


By the end of the course, you will have practiced journaling techniques that help you see your life story clearly and with generous eyes. You will also have identified what to prune away from your life and what to keep, feed, and nurture.
